To mark its 20th anniversary, Brouwerij Vicaris is presenting a handmade, authentic enamel sign that uniquely depicts the story of the brewery, its local roots and its origins.

The sign was made by Emaillerie Belge, the only enamel workshop still in operation in Belgium.

The illustration is by Katrijn Jacobs, a well-known illustrator from Dendermonde, who brings together twenty years of Vicaris in a detailed drawing, with numerous references to the brewery’s roots in Grembergen and its present in Dendermonde. Among other things, the Vicaris giant and the logo with the four girls are featured.

The anniversary sign also serves as a tribute to Vincent Dilewyns, founder of the brewery and father of Claire. He started brewing in 1999 and launched the first Vicaris beer in 2005, laying the foundations for the brewery’s further growth.

The enamel sign will be released in a limited edition of 120 numbered copies, making it a particularly exclusive item. Sign size: 450x370x20mm, cost price €385.

The detailed design of the sign will be announced on 5 February via Facebook & Instagram. Sales will take place on Saturday 7 February between 9 a.m. and 12 noon in the brewery shop at Vlassenhout 5, Dendermonde. On Sunday 8 February, any remaining signs will be placed on the Vicaris webshop.
